Bought chorfs few days ago, made new team in col, so far so good. Probably will be my fav team for next few seasons. They have superb number of positionals: 6 players are very good at their job right out of the box and need only 2 more skills to become nearly perfect, 2 strong and fast blitzers and even cheap 40k lineman for dirty stuff! +mutation access on doubles gives them advantage in high tv. Most OP race in Blood Bowl in my opinion
Dark Elves. They are to Blood Bowl what Brazil is to soccer, they play the beautiful game. Daring, flexible, graceful & aggressive.
Runner Up:
Nurgle. The most chaotic of the Chaos races. The foul appearance adds an element of randomness I love, you can hear your opponent groan across the screen when he gets two farts in the face in a row, totally wrecking his strategy for the turn.
Also mentions:
Skaven: I play them as glass cannons with Rat Ogre. I can't stand the no RO/4GR lineup.
Vampires: Most unique game play in BB.
Orks: Classic. I use all the positionals, just because.
Norse: Where the frenzy goes, nobody knows!
1. Dark Elves - Witch is a great piece, plus they are faster than the average team, bashier than the other elves (they certainly aren't bash team though), and the assassin is fun.
2. Dark Elves - See above.
3. Kislev - Leaps. Leaps, and more leaps.
4. Underworld - I haven't played them nearly enough, but stunties + mutation, nuff said.
5. Dark Elves - See 1.
That all being said, most of the teams look enjoyable to me. I'm trying to play more of the races to get a feel for everything. The only thing stopping me is amount of free time and how much I love seeing teams develop!
2. WoodElves - fast and masters of the elf-bs, though less durable
3. Kislev - faster than normal, more durable than Woodies and Skaven, unpredictable
4. Dark Elves - cause of frenzy witches, duh!
5. Lizards - if they manage to pick up the ball, they're pretty unstoppable and if there's no tackle, no cage is safe
Yes, I like speed.
Love those werewolves.
