Stand Firm against a lot of Elves/Skaven Guard against a lot of Bash teams.
- Guard
- Stand Firm
- Break Tackle
Guard is the most useful because of the Krox's STR 5 and Prehensile Tail, so it's hard to move or get away from it.
Stand Firm is nice, keeps your line/wall in shape and Break Tackle prevents him from being stuck isolated (or break cages)
Doubles
- Block
- Pro
- Frenzy
Block first. Arguably better offensively, unquestionally better defensively. Pro second since is helps reduce Bonehead and can change bad rolls without wasting team RR's.
Frenzy only if you've gotten all the other skills above. Luxury skill but creates awsome cage breaking.
Guard, break tackle and juggernaut was the way I've gone, highly mobile krox coming through.
Frenzy more of a luxury and getting it would be even less likely. Yes though on Grab - absolutely forgot about it.
Still would take Break Tackle over it since Krox is rather mobile with 6 MA and being able to base into the teeth of a cage with Guard and Prehensile Tails shouldn't be brushed offed.
After block, for most big guys pro is a great 2nd, but a lizard needs tackle.
Tackle and tail are a great combo, so good that In certain leagues I would take tackle first even before pro. It makes staying in your TZ very dangerous and makes dodging away too risky. Catch 22 and a big problem for your opponent.
Hey XS and Val, how are you guys going? Playing in any Australian leagues these days?
One could argue Diving Tackle would be more beneficial if you're using it to tie up Agi dodgers. Down side is that a prone Krox is prone to fouls (mind you thick skull helps).
I want to tie up and kill them, tackle helps me do both and I dont really want to down a bone head player, failing the roll after self grassing can be super crippling.
The BBLANZ is a great league with top players, apply for next season mate
