Amazon Counters?
How should i be fighting niche teams like amazons, goblins, etc etc. I really dont understand how im supposed to come out on top when i cant even hit them half the time. Its really frustrating not being able to KO anyone and have all your guys get KO'D by a blitzer with fouls. I get that theyre stats are very basic, but that doesnt matter when luck and probabillity are the strongest factors in this game. Im playing bretonnians, fighting elves is one thing but fighting a team who cant be hit is seriously disheartening when your only 4 matches in with a team and have gotten 3 losses by various sprinting dodge teams.

I mean how should i be positoning my guys?
There are no good positoning guides ive found online or youtube for dealing with high mobillity.
And really i just want to enjoy the game and have a better understanding of what im doing.

1,000 losses playbook is a good general resource https://fumbbl.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=24897&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 (find the link in the first post)

There's a couple of points you've made so roughly in turn:-

1. The main key to Zons is the tackle skill, and vs gobbos getting your 3D blocks (so ST3 + 2 assists) against them to giove you a better chance of POWs or Both Down when you are blitzing with a blitzer. If you are Brets, you should be fouling the AV7 positionals from a Zon team with your peasants, especially if you get their blitzers down.

Zons are very very good against non-tackle teams at low TV if the oppo coach knows what they are doing, once you have some tackle & MB things should even up a bit.

AG3 with Dodge isn't fantastic and eventually they will trip up. If you mark with the Wrestle players then you have a better chance of getting them down to foul.

Zons are also very slow, with MA6 you can and should be able to get a good column defence in, especially with fend.

2. Against High mobility (and neither gobbos or zons have high mobility), the main danger is allowing your opponent to cage or screen up in your half and then stall the game out. Accept that they will be able to score and get them to do it quickly, so make sure you keep some safeties back, ideally a blitzer with tackle. If you blitz with the wrestlers against positionals and get them down, don't hesitate to foul as much as you can.

I've not played Brets much, so other Bret coaches might be able to give you better advice!

Brets stink. Sorry, but they do. Your blitzers have access to tackle though, so when you can’t figure out what to give them after dodge, tackle is a good option for this matchup.

Read the thing Ethelred posted.

If you're looking for a direct counter to dodge heavy teams then Dwarves or Chaos Dwarves will mess their day up pretty bad. They're very slow teams (particularly Dwarves) though, so your positioning game will need to be on point.

It's a bit odd to see Amazons and Goblins listed as equals, while the first is a bloody good team (particularly at low TV), the latter is pretty terrible by design, albeit bloody fun.

Use the pushes and push pows to move them towards the sidelines and get them off the pitch by surfing them.
Blitz the amazon blitzers with your blockers. If you get a both down wrestle them to the floor and have some peasants ready to gangfoul them.
