Is it a good idea to buy Blood Bowl 2 + Legendary Edition right now?
Hi, I'm a newbie blood bowl player, who started recently with blood bowl 1 (the chaos edition). The game is awesome, but graphics are a little bit updated, plus I think the UI is a little bit difficult to understand.

I see the second game, which had mixed reviews, is now having an expansion pack. Do you guys believe its a good idea to jump right now to this game? Has the game improved in any way since its launch? Is the content included in the legendary edition more than the one in Blood Bowl 1 chaos?

Thanks in advance!

I completely stopped playinig BBCE about a year ago and have never looked back. With LE the game will have more teams and a much more polished look by far. Totally worth it since you already know you like blood bowl anyway.

In my humble opinion, yes. It is worth picking them up.

But it's also my opinion that what we're getting now after years of patches, and an expansion pack is the final product we deserved years ago. This is just a rant, but the game is good and is finally shaping in what I would call a 'complete game'.

Nope, just a waste of money on a new incomplete game with the same bugs and errors (and probably a sihtload of more errors that they won't fix) and a crappier layout.
I might consider it if it was free, but probably not..

Could you please specify a little more? Are the bugs and errors gameplay-wise, graphic-wise or content-wise?

While the game of Blood Bow and rulesl are the same, this game engine has been rebuilt from scratch. In the process they streamlined it, which I think has improved playability, but like any reboot they got some things wrong, combined with incrementally releasing new teams on the roster it has caused mixed review. experienced Blood Bowl players felt they were getting less game for their money, which in part was true.

Legendary edition though addresses most of these problems and improves on the original in many ways, which should put to rest concerns BB2 is the lesser title, and brings back dumb teams like Halflings and Snotlings which people missed despite their silliness. In its current form BB2 is a much friendlier way to learn, with a scripted campaign which should keep you happy till Legendary is released in a few weeks time. You'll get 16 teams now, with 8 more teams and new play modes on Sept 6.

So yeah, if you like Blood Bowl, get it. :)

Pretty funny, it seems like the only thing you do on this forum is accusing people for being trolls, which probably makes you the biggest troll..

Bugs and errors - gamplay-wise, crappier layout - graphic-wise.

Cyanide made an incomplete game with lots of errors (they fixed a few but many remains) which will most like come with LE too, released a few games along the way for 7 € each and now they release 8 more teams for 40€

According to steam:
+1400 hours in blood bowl.
Last week 40 hours.

Permanently saying he gets matched with +500 tv, which is not possible.

@gflorez97
If you are new to blood bowl and liked the first one, then buying the LE is okay.
But it is possible that you will learn to hate Blood Bowl in the future :genki:

Or be like an elitist and play on fumbll and count pixels
