Stats?
As someone rather new to bloodbowl other than trying horribly to play the first game (much better now), i still don't know a alot of things about it.

For instance the one thing right now that is confusing me is Str/Agi and other stats like that. The thing that confuses me is the leveling system, do i get to choose increasing these stats ever? or it is a chance i get those stats? Do i choose to use one of those levels to increase it over a passive/ability or do i just don't get to increase it at all?

Thanks in advanced helping a noob like me.

Stats:
MA - how far you can move. You can also choose to GFI up to 2 squares, but that's a risk.
ST - used mostly for blocking. You compare STs and that decides how many block dice are rolled and who gets to choose.
AG - used for ball handling/dodging. Uses GW's "rule of 7" which means in order to pass the roll AG + dice roll + modifier >= 7.
AV - armour. On being knocked down (usually from a block) your opponent tries to beat your armour score on 2d6. An AV8 player requires a 9 or more to break.

All of the above can be modified by certain skills.

Levelling
SPP are gained for certain actions. On reaching a threshold a player will be able to roll to level up, with the roll determining the options which are available. If your roll is 10 you can choose MA or AV, on 11 you can choose AG, and on a 12 you can choose ST.

70+MB, but well worth a read.

Don't get too carried away when you'll be rolling the stats though. + Agility on black ork is not exactly usefull, neither is + movement on a zombie.

I'm not that stupid. I just want more Str on my linemen for Wood elves so i can use them as a proper holding line unit while my dancers/throwers and catchers do all the behind enemy lines shizz.

I wouldn't put useless stats on units i don't think need it.

I just wanted to know how and when i can get rolls for those stats.
