- Break their ghouls, they wear toilet paper armor and have no regeneration.
- With orcs you are better at caging and outblocking them with lots of guard.
- If they are too fast for you, go for a 2:1, if they score early. Get the ball into the cage and destroy their value players. Use your BOBs to outmuscle them.
Their biggest limitation is their speed though. If you somehow take care of wws (put a tz on them, take em out, etc), Necros can't catch up and it is hard for them to recover the ball if you steal it.
Orks are surely not the best team to beat Necros though, as they are not fast themselves and vulnarable to claw. But you will still have str, guard and even ag advantage to pull sometihing off.
Taking out sniping werewolves when protected by a screen of zombies I find very difficult. What can you do about that? Do you blitz your way through and put a few (not too valuable) players in tacklezones next to the wolves? Of course then they get free blocks with claw...
This is why I said that a good coach wont jsut hand you a ww hit. WW though are ag3 and frenzy. Eventually they will put themselves in a hitable spot. Of course they are still av8 plus regen, but if they go, necros lose a lot of power.
Also I'd play agressive when I can - Necros are good at grinding but not that good at elf bs - use your superior str and guard to make ball carriers life difficult. If you do well, they will have to rely on some ag3 dodges to work.
Use your Blitzers to take out the fast moving ghouls and WWs. Tackle works wonders.
The Black Orcs should be used to fight the Flesh Golems and the Wights. A Troll with Guard can be used to boost your BOs to 5 strength for fighting the FGs.
The Necromantic have really bad ball moving potential. With no throwers or catchers they rely on ghouls/WW to run it. Ghouls have no Regen, target them first. WW's have a harder time running the ball due to Fenzy making it ineffecent to blitz people who are behind you.

What seems to make me give games away (and what I remember from winning against necromantic teams) is when I am forced to make a run to the endzone. Because then I often just have 1 or max. 2 other players around to give cover. I am very cautious with GFIs when I have the ball, which in my case sometimes results in bad positioning. Zombies and Fleshies are usually tied up or busy blocking pieces and are to slow to assist in scoring plays. I don't feel necros are particularly good at caging as the players are too slow to move the cage. It's more a game of keep away and make a run to the endzone when there is a hole in the defense.
I remember one game against orcs where I was first trying to break the cage, which did not work too well, and then decided to give the other coach some room near the endzone. He fell for it and could not build a propper cage which I then happily exploited to snatch the ball.
I guess what I am trying to say is: On offense, stick to your game and keep you players together. An orc that wanders away from the rest will get attacked with claws.
On defense, make them move the ball around and pressure them into a bad position. Then have someone ready to snatch the ball. As said earlier, once they lose the ball, it's hard for them to get it back as they just have a few players that can handle the ball.
Thats so true. One of the best teams for conservative 2-1 grind playstyle. This is why I like them - reliable and predictable when things go as planned. And yes, you guessed right - my necros have two zombie foulers =)
Won't see me arguing there. Necros and Undead are the teams I play if I'm looking to foul away all game.
