Witch Elf first roll is doubles go for Juggernaut?
This is a lone Witch with her pair coming later, do I take Juggernaut, go for Mighty Blow and pray she survives or block?

Thanks in advance.

I'd go mighty blow if you don't have one on a blitzer yet.

Otherwise Juggs is a reasonable choice here since it counters both down when you blitz. Though I'm not a huge fan of juggs personally, but if you want increase your odds of surfing then it's really good

I wouldn't take Juggs on a WE. If you want her to become a hitter (and it sounds like you do) you'll end up getting block one day anyways. Get MB if that's the route you're going.

There are people who build wrestle/juggs witches, it's not a bad build really, but not one I use myself.
Valcurdra 28 ENE 2017 a las 19:16
Mb all the way

Mighty Blow. She'll survive to 16.

I play dark elf a lot and still can't figure how to build a witch.

I read a lot of things about but.... still don't know...

Hitter witch is ok, classic build, mb, block, tacle, side step, divin tacle, fend etc... (and hopefully piling on)

But u need a sacker in your team (better 2) and the only player that start without block are the witch and the lineman. (u need wresle on a sacker ofc)

Witch seem to build good as sacker. wrestle, strip, leap, side step, tacle etc... and jugg is a good skill for surf but not as good for sack. Meanwhile mb is not a good skill for a sacker, so actually a sacker witch probably don't need any double.

U can build a sacker with a lineman but it's a long way and u can't wait soo much, but u can do after many game.

So... i honestly don't really know ho to build a witch elf.:steamfacepalm:

In my current team i've a blitzer sacker with dodge, strip, tacle, leap but i don't really like it as i don''t have wrestle and i don't want to double wrestle/block.... so i try to build a lineman sacker as backup but need spp... :steamhappy:

I've a witcher with block, side step and tacle that i don't use a lot because i already have an hitter blitzer with tacle and mb.

So basically i dunno how to use my witcher with dark elf.

PLS NEED HELP!

Juggs is good if you've some Guard players!
If not, it's not always so good.

Juggs on the witch gets that extra push die when you want it, especially against the ball carrier. With juggs I'd be tempted to have block to keep me up but switch to juggs when popping the ball with strip ball.

Personally, I have never liked the witch on dark elves. I like zerks, but the witch is expensive for her av 7, although perhaps essential. This is why I have never enjoyed delfs so I feel your pain skydancer.

U got the point.
If sacker i can't go block as i need wrestle.
If wrestle, jugg is somewhat a waste as negate wrestle on def and u better have block then.
If going for hitter and not sacker u waste his usefull non block status and u must use a lineman or give to a blitzer wrestle that is somewhat bad.

I realize that if i want a sacker witch i'll skill all double and if i want a hitter i need MB.

But juggernaut is very usefull too on a frenzy player.... sooo... mind crap situation.

Not if the defender has block. Wrestle/Tackle/Strip Ball will take the ball out of the carrier's hands 5 times from 6, taking him down 3 from 6.

Yeah but jugg is totally pointless on a wrestle/strip sacker.

That's why i told that on a sacker witcher prob u don't need any double.

Get jugg on a wrestle sacker is a waste as u can't negate wresle to kick down the opponent (as u don't take block but wrestle you too)

Not entirely. You can negate the wrestle with juggs, then decline the push and use your block skill on a blitz. You negate wrestle with juggs on a blitz no matter whether you convert a both down to push.

Having said all that, I still probably wouldn't load up with juggs instead of Mighty blow. If someone is carrying the ball with a wrestler and you go down with them, the ball is also coming out. I just follow the mantra that unless a wrestler has the ball or I want to foul them, go pick on someone else.

After some analysis i end up with two build for witcher :

1) block, side step, tacle, divin tacle, fend (mb on double early on in the hope of get also po, juggernaut later)

2) wrestle, tacle, side step, divin tacle, fend on the other one (no double at all probably, not sure)
DarthPhysicist 29 ENE 2017 a las 8:59
Probably want strip ball on that wrestler (and maybe leap)
