Ring of blades is a terrible design choice.

This ring is so good, if you dont use it, you lose. simple. It has good durability, an amazing benefit, and it's not even DLC. Why. Just make every weapon have the +2 damage bonus, and remove the ring. Dark souls 2 has 3 ring slots, all because there is no situation where this ring isn't the best.

Ring of blades is good? I haven't even touched that thing before. I love my cloranthy ring mah third dragon ring and of course.... I forgot.. nevermind, I haven't played in like 3 months

The repair spell is no good to me as I'm faith based melee and dont want to carry a staff just for 1 spell, and weapon repair potions cost souls, so for me the ring is the best option.

I might hit harder with the Ring of Blades, but the durability ring lets me hit for a lot, lot longer.

You can use them both.

I'm not using it and I'm alright. I would put Third Dragon Ring in "must-have" slot instead.

At least the third dragon ring breaks if the damn wind touches it, but RoB has 50 or 70 durability I believe. Never had it break on me ever.

To be fair PC players currently have half the clears of the 360 version and less than half the clears of the PS3 version. PC players need to get gud.

Regardless I hope this list shows you that the Third Dragon Ring, Chloranthy Ring, and Ring of Life Protection tend to be as in portant or even more important than the ring blades.

I disagree with the OP completely. Third Dragon and Cloranthy +2 are far more useful for any and everyone. My choice for the two remaining rings would be Life Ring +3 and Stone Ring/Element Ring +3, depending on the opponent's loadout.

Personal preference, isn't it? I never use the Chloranthy Ring for my characters and I also almost never use the Third Dragon Ring. I personally use RoB +2, Flynn's, Blue Tearstone and some fourth ring.
In my opinion you only really need the Chloranthy Ring if you want to play very aggressive. I'm running around with <70% equip load, ~20 end without the Chloranthy Ring and I don't have any problems with that setup, because I'm used to it.

Not with my build, Clorianthy +2, Third Dragon Ring and Ring of Life Protection leaves only room for one of them.

Flynn's is based on your MAX EQUIPLOAD STAT, aka the ring does less dmg the higher your max quipload is. To increase its bonus simply don't level up your equipload and don't pair the ring with dragon's ring or Soldier's Ring, or any armor that increases max equipload.

Considering the level spread shows that a lot of pc players can't get a toon past lvl 40 shows its most definitly get gud.

Pretty much, its speficially desinged for glass cannon builds. That focus on light fast attack weapons like rapiers or daggers.
