FROM is segregating, "suspected" tamperers with ANY third-party software.

Your steam_api.dll in your local file in DS2 folder, is what registers and identifies you to access their online feature. That and these two other files you can find are what they check to determine if you "poked around" with their game.

An issue as well is, if you modified anything Offline and went Online for even a second, you will end up in the Blacklist Server. Because they will be registered as tampered with.

VAC is and will be "enabled" when they can UPDATE it, to comprehend and determine what a hack/mod/cheat is, and what to do about it. It's always been there, just turned off.

FROM has quietly been sending server analysts to poke around your files, to segregate you onto the blacklist server, to prepare for a massive BAN hammerfest in the blacklist server, once VAC is VAC 2.0

Me and many other peers are here are trying to figure out a way to fix this issue, for THOSE that did NOT TAMPER with Dark Souls 2.

Speak up! You have a voice people, and we know there are hundreds of players with this issue.

Not entirely, they are buddy-buddy in terms of them asking Durante to "assist/volunteer" to refine their work.

Namco Bandai, in my opinion, not actual fact. Is stalling/covering for FROM to fix VAC, so that it can function properly, while at the same time, herding all the hackers/cheaters/modders.

That way once its prepped, they can initiliaze it, wipe all the "tamperers" and can finally say Dark Souls 2 is "tamperer free".

Your proof fails to prove that you did not in fact Alt+F4. Your proof included only one area. Your proof can be made more concise, or people simply won't watch the entirety of it.

Please do the following if you want your proof to be more than a mere claim:
1. Attempt to use the "Bone of Order" item in the same session.
2. Travel to a large number of areas in the same session.

The second part of the video is about hacking in DS2, it's irrelevant to your proof and it's probably against the rules on the forums here. Whether or not a blacklist server exists, the uploader just showed off hacking in online mode. Hacking is possible in most games, and simple memory locking and speed changing are quite possible in DS2. However, those same hacks are the easiest detectable next to game file modification (not addition), so the uploader will most likely receive a VAC ban in a couple of weeks to a month.

I'm willing to suspend my disbelief with the bone of order, but he really should have gone to other areas as well as show his soul memory.

So what's this about Alt-F4ing? Cos sometimes I will quit out of the game then Alt-F4 the menu screen to save time, but I've never done it with other players summoned/invaded.

I see so it is true so how do i get out of this blacklist? i've used trainers before nothing big just getting some 99 of consumables and things like that i have never invaded any begginers or anything like that so how do you get out?

Ok, i saw the video, but why were you two adressing the fact that people hack in this game as if it wasn't a thing? I'm pretty sure alot of people do know people hack this game, the thing we were debunking is the fact that there was no proof on the claim that there was a blacklist side server for the game.

As for the blacklist thing, i did notice there weren't any summon signs on the ground, but quite frankly you were hacking, and i don't know how that interferes with Soul memory. If so, how did he manage to summon you anyways? Were you also using cheats to test this out or did you have a certain ammount of SM?

Either way, this needs more showcasing, this is hardly that much proof, if anything most of the video were you two talking about how people should belive hacking is possible. As for modders and such receiving a possible ban on this i'm pretty sure that's true, it's been told from the start that this was gonna be a thing since it modifies in-game files and vac picks up on this but can't differenciate that it's simply a mod. But the blacklist server side is still blurry.
