Accidently killed the blacksmith Lenigrast in majula do i start again or push on to the next one?

Was getting attacked by the zombie pigs in Majula and they followed me into the blacksmiths hut. Must of struck him by mistake and he wouldn't stop attacking me even after a reload so i put him down. Already spent 15 to 17 hours in game and about level 27 so should i start again or push through to the next one Mc Duff? :(

Seems like it, although there is a NPC you can confess sins to for a certain number of souls...but I'm not 100% sure it will bring him back to life.

He might have a grave site near, you can talk to his ghost if he does, but it will cost you.

Theres another blacksmith you can unlock after getting to Iron keep.

15 to 17 hours in game and your only level 27? I have 45 hours and am 225 with +10 all gear idk what your doing. Mcduff only unlocks when you get the ember which is in the iron keep and technically you can speed run there in about a hour since I just started NG+ about 3 hours ago and casually got to the Iron Keep. Tbh id restart since hes useful and just speed run throug

He says he has kids so you have to understand how much of handful they can be when they cut into vidya time.

There are other blacksmiths in the game if repairing is the issue here, he's not essential.

Don't start over, you can make use of him again when his tombstone appears after a few hours of game play (don't expect immediate).

eventually you get Ornifex and the imbument guy who can both reinforce your weapons/armor.

Priest in brightcove will cure your agro, same area as Ornifex. In the mean time, head to lost bastile for the other blacksmith.
