DS3 tool not working

tried everything, ds3 recognizes the controller and vibration works and everything like that, but when I go to open dark souls it does not work

DS3 tool initially didn't work for me either. Fix by: update to Version 0.7.0000(testing), load the driver in the driver manager, in the profiles tab- click on 360 controller emulator (Xinput-default), finally press enable in the profiles tab. This worked for me

Had the same problem, I fixed this by unplugging all other peripherals apart from my keyboard and mouse. Suddenly it started working. Probably some priority issue. (Had a razer nostromo attached)

Have you tried downloading the MotioninJoy drivers and then using Better DS3? That's what I had to do.

Make sure you set up a preset in Better DS3 as well.

Better DS3, set-up XBox 360 Controller as the profile and set it to load upon controller detect, then set Better DS3 to load with Windows (drop into the Startup folder in your Windows Orb Menu) and watch it always detect your XBox 360 Controller.

Hello, just wanted to thank all the answers, disconnected all the peripherals, reinstalled the MJ drivers and it worked, I honestly dont know why, but that is all I did in case it is useful to anyone else. Thanks again.
