IMO they're nice to have, and you obviously can choose to not use them.
if those weapons are only accessible faster with preorder then without preorder, i would not care.

They do NOT have different stats. Like Dark Souls I, weapons stats depend entirely upon the person. Don't level up strength, then Greataxes suck. Don't level up dex, then Katanas are gonna suck.
They will only appear to have different stats, because a person starting out willl have rubbish stats compared to a player 10 hours in who has just found the weapon.
They have different stats. As in stat scaling, dmg, weight, durability, Bleeding effect etc.
Here is a summary:
Black Flamestone Dagger and Black Flamestone Parma - A dagger and shield encrusted in Black Flamestone both found in the Gutter at Black Gulch. Even though they are heavier than a normal dagger and shield, the Flamestone crystal's unique properties make the dagger extremely sharp and give the shield high resistance to damage.
Yellow Quartz Long Sword and Yellow Quartz Shield - A straight sword and small shield hardened with yellow quartz both uncovered at the bottom of the Iron Keep. Even though these items can break easily due to their high level of corrosion, they are exceptionally light and their power to inflict damage has not declined.
Bound Hand Axe and Bound Wooden Shield - A brutal hand axe and shield found in the Undead Purgatory. Both items are wrapped in chains and thorns to cause additional bleeding on enemies. Both the axe and shield have diminished in overall slashing power but their ability to deliver pain has been deliberately increased.
Homunculus Mace and Homunculus Wooden Shield - A mace and shield with spherical protrusions found in Aldia's Keep. Although heavier than normal maces and shields, the hard protrusions greatly increase the striking power of the mace as well as the shield's defensive capabilities.
Transgressor's Staff and Transgressor's Leather Shield - A staff and leather shield entwined with an unknown and seemingly lackluster element; these items are found in the Dark Chasm of Old. They have become a catalyst for sorcery and hex and cause an effect known as Darkness.

seems like those weapons are only accessible from the beginning (preorder) instead of having to find them (non-preorder). guess ima wait for it's price to drop, am not a fan of preorder stuff that takes away ingame exploring.
The pre order black flameston dagger and others will have the same stats as one you find or create in the game not sure how you interpret this as they will be different.
Guess what? If you pre order the game and would rather find the gear yourself you simply dont use them or drop them problem solved
Ah nevermind then i thought you meant all preorder weapons have the same stats.
In a pinch you can have a buddy make a toon for you , drag him in co-op , have him drop what you want and he can delete the toon.
Bottom line , how badly would you want one of those weapons..
Me I bought the collectors edition but I'm not going to be using any gear that gives me the slightest advantage, then later have a conversation with someone who tells me "oh but you had weapon X from the start THAT's why you were able to.." ... never... For your sanity , don't.
And starting with some larger weapon.. look , if you played well you could finish DS1 at starting level , if it's anything like that with DS2 once you have serious gear and are used to your weapon you can go back to the starting area and wait for idiots to invade you , have your revenge 100 fold then you'll pee yourself while kackling.
This is Dark Souls, if I don't start the game hollow, naked, itemless, and underpowered my epeen will suffer.
