Interstellar Marines

Interstellar Marines

I forgot this game existed
Isn´t this game already almost 10 years old? How do the devs survive? is this a money laundering scheme? Just looked in my library and forgot the game existed. Somehow there´s still updates. Like holy hell what is going on.

I'd say the game is dead. Just another failed development.
I'll play it now and then just cause I like picking off bots.

I would say the one person developerment team is barely working on it maybe like a few hours per month.

I would say this is beyond optimistic. Whoever worked on this game in the past probably already forgot it even existed. It's only a thing in memories of whatever few people that got to play this tech demo way back.

It's not a money laundering scheme.

The game is just dead. It's funding dried out and it's developers had to move on.
Translation, they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ us and ran with the money, steam still keeps the game up because idiots still buy it and steam gets a 30% cut. RIP

the amount of time it took to make this engine from the ground up with a couple people is insane. You can't run with money you don't have. Promising engine and advanced for its time. But they couldn't even sell it to a studio, unfortunately.
