I bought this game a few years ago. There's something that keeps me coming back, checking in to see what the latest is with it. It was a fun game, i really enjoyed it and i felt like i got my money's worth. The graphics felt great, the sound was great, the atmosphere was great and the game was fun and challenging. You did amazing things with what you had.

I don't know how much money is still being made, but at this stage i think keeping it up for sale is damaging any chance it has of ever being successful. If you see the reviews, overall they're mixed. But recent reviews are very negative. I believe that even If you finished this game in the next 6 months - it wouldn't matter. The negative reviews will kill any chance it has of making it. :( You know how it is with bandwagons.

I would love to continue to see progress on this game, and i don't want to see these negative reviews kill it. Make it free - or a token cost: $1 which is really asking people to say "thanks" rather than buying the game. Make it Open Source (i don't know if that's possible with the engine).

Whatever you do, good luck :)

i own over 1,000 games on Steam, and this is probably my greatest disappointment. so much potential. granted, i had a great time with what's there, but seriously, wtf happened? From the outside looking in, and based on the aforementioned video, it seems like there are only "idea guys" that are in charge at this point; no actual, paid devs that can devote themselves to this. And for a game that apparently has between 200k and 500k sales (https://steamspy.com/app/236370) at around $10+ per pop (pretty sure i paid around $15 or maybe $20) -- and then transitioning to a volunteer group, no less? -- this is just a waste and should be a warning to any other devs who think they'll just come along and build "the next big thing" without understanding the logistics required. And like Fysis said, there's just no coming back at this point, all good will has been lost -- like 5 years ago. To get $2+ million and still screw up this badly... wow. Glad i'm not their accountant.

I think this project was probably overambitious and perhaps a bit naive. I think it's fair to question how they managed to spend so much funding without getting further, but they did manage to deliver a very impressive "tech demo". It's just that people aren't interested enough in that for what it costs, and those that did invest their money, felt they didn't quite get what they expected. Perhaps there should have been a higher focus on the player experience and replay value, and add the more fancy stuff eventually. That said, funding a project is not the same as buying a finished product, so I don't think anyone should feel too disappointed, walking sharks aside. This game might still become something, if someone is willing to fund it. It's a very good basis for a great game still.
