[DISCORD SERVER] - The Official Interstellar Marines Discord VoIP Server
Welcome to the Official Interstellar Marines Discord Server. We all know that IM's VoIP isn't great (yet) and we need somewhere to voice our voices while we play. It has voice and text channels so everyone can express themselves.

It's early and more features will be added over time but welcome to the Official Interstellar Marines Discord Server: https://discord.gg/8uWtk4x

Heads up! The current discord link doesn't work. Ask me for an invite (or hopefully they will update it)

I just tried using the link and it worked fine for me... Though maybe its because I copied the link directly into a Discord chat and joined from Discord.

Seems to work for me too

Can we please use something like Mumble instead of Discord?

Not everyone wants or is willing to use bloated web applications from a company with a questionable past, ethics, and privacy policies. Or wants to install a proprietary VoIP application with potential security vulnerabilities that is also centralized when things like Mumble and Teamspeak worked fine for years.

We have been using Discord for quite a while and it will stay that way. If you want to create a Mumble or TS server we'll be more then happy to link it as well.

Wait wait... I thought teamspeak3 now can search through your computer files... It's been like that for a while as far as I'm concerned... It's why I stopped using ts3...

Now that steam has updated with the new chat/group VOIP feature, I am surprised to see that no one has capitalized on that for those of us who don't like discord's privacy policy.
