Explain how to find different Sectors

I just read a guide and it said a ship can be found in 'Sector 312' ... but how do I figure out which grid point is sector 312? There must be some viewable indicator I am missing but I cannot find it.

map is 20 tiles wide, 17 tiles high. starting at 0, low left corner, 0-19, 20-39, 40-59 ...

sector 312/20=16-th row, 13th tile from the left,

I wouldn't have guessed it started in lower left corner. It is actually the 6th tile from left.

Since this game is pretty new player friendly I was assuming there was a toggle I could hit to show the numbers in the overwhelming start chart. I was wrong but Oliver seems to agree it is a good addition to the game as well.

Try to be a bit nicer to other players confused on things next time as making people not want to come to these forum will NOT help the Devs nor the Game, just your ego I guess.

My bad man, I just came from BSN forums and I carried my experience over. My fault, you've been very helpful to everyone here. I should know better by now this is a good community, hopefully you guys keep it up. I will try not to assume the worst and hopefully contribute myself.
