Secrets of Aethera
This probably sounds like a dumb question, but is Secrets of Aethera classified as a campaign or something else? The reason I ask is, I've played it for a huge number of hours and am at the point where I have visited every point on the map and there are no missions showing except for the usual freelance stuff. If there are no main or side missions left, how do you know the game has "finished" or is that not how it works?

Its a campaign. Sort of a continuation of the main campaign and uses the same mission markers as the main campaign. If you have progressed to the point where you can board the station and buy the new ships, added with the dlc, then you have finished it.

OK, thanks for that. I have only played Aethera by itself, not as part of another campaign. If you're referring to Kepler station, I completed it quite a while ago, so that's probably when I stopped getting missions. I got the Echelon Destroyer and had lots of fun with that. Awesome ship! Now I need to play a regular campaign and look for Aethera on the side to get that ship again.

If you play the full story mode, the DLC missions will only start after the main campaign is done.

Thank you. That's good to know.
