Good question :)

http://starpointgemini.com/forum/ would be a good place to ask/find ;)

Unfortunately I don't yet have that many blueprints, so I'm just guessing:

Have you searched the system upgrades of the drydock and the hiring screen?
Those would be the places I'd expect the blueprint items to show up; hiring screen for bp officer, systems/upgrades in drydock for the other blueprints.

I could also imagine that so far only blueprint drops are in the game but not their assembly yet.

Basic mechanics is this: you gather blueprints, and as you gather 10 pieces, they will automatically be assembled to unified special blueprint. That one will unlock ability to buy specified system on any friendly station. One set of blueprints allows the purchase of one specific item. If you want more of the same items, another batch of blueprints will have to be assembled. I hope this helps :)

WHEN we have BLUEPRINTS we have a completely NEW item to BUILD... when i play your freaking game and looking around for the NEW SHIELD so i can change my blue shield with my NEW orange one i am wasting my time cause there is NOT any shield ....its an ENCHANTMENT and you will find them in the ENCHANTMENT TAB FOR CHRIST SAKE ..... thats what ppl asking for not how the damn game basic mechanics are...we know them cause YOU gave us TUTORIALS right???? not to mention that the tutorial you gave to the game is completely mess cause when you finish reading one INSTANTLY another popups and for 10 minutes in the start of the game you forgot what you have to do cause new info constantly appears .....

Wait, did you just quote a 1+year post, just to trolls a Dev, while in the meantime saying stuff that makes you look like a complete idiot ? Wow, amazing. I didn't know you could look both like an idiot and an a**hole in such a short message.

First, enchantement ? Like an +1 axe or something ? Sound like fun, I was planning to make a dark elf paladin, with a fire damage ship, but the trolls always give me trouble.

Then, I'm sorry if you expect to actually earn a new shield, when there are no shields in the entire game. I mean, really, you don't need a large amount of time to realize shield are part of the ship, and the only thing you can do is to improve them. Chances are, by the time you have enough BP, you already changed ships several time, and noticed that. Unless you're like "I'm so going to earn an item I've never seen in the game, and put it in a slot that doesn't even exist !".

Also, he was talking in generic term, considering the question asked was not specifically about shield, and could have been about fighters or weapons. Also, he is right, once you have the proper amount of BP (the amount of BP was changed since his post), you have the ability to buy the item or enhancement.

Finally, the devs are not native English speaker. While they are rather fluent, they might make mistakes. But seriously complaining about Devs interacting with player is dumb. Especially the SPG devs that are amongst the bets dev I meet when it comes to player interaction.

I'm sorry you had problems with blueprints, but the simple way is to just come on forums and ask. Not to insult members of the community and developers. And I actually didn't see the question in your post, only behaviour that would be banned on any other Steam forum immediately.

Please, if you have a specific question about Blueprints, I will gladly answer to the best of our abilities.

This topic is locked for flaming. Further insults will result in ban, but I would really like to avoid that.

Thank you.
