Is the Neptune Frigate worth using?

I'm at level 7 currently. I just did a freelance assassination mission and thanks to some very, very helpful NPC's, I was able to capture a Neptune Frigate with the starter ship :)

Should I throw it in the garage and wait till level 10 or scrap it? It's only worth 770k as scrap and it (obviously) is a big improvement over what I'm flying in now.

Judging by the stats it's a decent ship in it's class and it has cloaking abilities. Even if there are better ships to go for You got this one alerady in your garage. You can spend the saved money on upgrades.

I used a Neptune during my first playtrhough, it is a very well rounded ship that can cloak.

i took the abeja (i think thats how it spelled?), it has the best troop transport and capacity i can get and it's weapons are reasonable as well.

i wouldn't trust that wiki page for the most accurate information, it's out of date.

I run all the way to lvl 32 in the Taurus. It kicks arse for me. I have it all decked out. I runs away good too. 720 cargo as well.

I ended up using the Neptune and I'm loving it so far. I just used it to catch a Prowess :)

Now I just need to grind from level 13 to 20.

I think I might end up finishing this game without legitimately buying a ship

I was tossing up between Neptune and Horizon when I was running a Frigate, and ended up settling on the Horizon because I preferred the look. I've since tried flying a Neptune for a bit of fun and it felt better to fly. I still think the Horizon is way prettier though.
