Mystic's description has remained vague, the only thing people would vote for her is visual wise. People scream gender equality in video games right and left anymore, and I can see it to a degree. But you could also scream where's the trans, the gay/bi, the black female, the ginger, etc.

Gender swap the M&M and Mystic. That'd be more interesting than another "ugly" male and "pretty" female face off. But that won't work. The people who scream equality really just boil down to wanting more pretty females to "enjoy" or "relate" to. I know I can relate to serpent god thieves and gun wielding, flying witches.

Seriously, "gender equality" in a game? You people making these complaints belong in polical parties, not video games. Embrace the age old game facts: Male characters = Bigger armour, better defended. Female characters = The closer they are to nude, better defended.

As for screaming trans/gay/bi/racial/hair colour (really this is a thing?)(refering to Vex's comment), I think the Mystic will be removing the trans one from that list... Look at "her" jawline, enough said.

Besides in the choice between Lilith and Midget Dr Robotnic, my vote would have gone to a non-Sonic the Hedghog character anyways.

Blood & Blades #TeamBarb Vote Barbarian! EV and Barbarian should've been an automatic add. They may have been DLC in the original but by the end they were established Defenders, not just DLC.
