XBox controller support!!
I tried the DD 1 Demo and anjoyed playing with the controller (Only use controllers for most games.)

* I decided to pick up DD2, only to find it there is no Controller Support?

*Don't think I can play this game without controller, but gonna try.

*Is there a time frame as to when it will be implemented?

* I don't see waiting months to play this newly purchased game, for controller upport

Could it be implemented soon? Don't want to wait weeks or months.

*Might even ask for refund if Devs skip this feature.

They are planning to add it, give them time. The game is still in pre-alpha.

* I tried the game last night, the Graphics and interface are Much more brighter than the first> not that the first was bad, just grungier.

I hope they don't take long to provide controller support, Yes its in pre alpha etc, but it's like releasing a game IMO) and saying.... wait till we include controls support, til then enjoy the start screens and menu's. LOL

UPDATE:

* It's a bit too physical to play with mouse and keyboard. (IMO)

What has worked for me, and I realize this isn't an option for everyone, was that I purchased a Razer Tartarus game-pad to use along with the mouse. I just rebound the keys and use my thumb on the analog stick just like I would on an Xbox controller. I use it for a lot of games now that I was never very good with on a keyboard. I do still desperately miss the pop-up menu for DD1 and that still makes it harder to play than with an Xbox controller but this is a good alternative for me anyway. Got it over the holidays on sale for $50

* Xpadder has a low user Rating> Not sure if I want to chance the glitches and crashes it might create on windows 8.1.

I can personally vouch for it on 8.1(i did purchase it though for the latest version). I bought it soley for DD2 and it works a treat. It doesn't take rocket science if you can read the instructions/forums. Hell, i'll share my profile with you if your using an xbone controller and cba configuring your own. Exactly where did you source the "poor user rating"?

Softonic.

If you check the user reviews the reason it's low is because only 4 people have rated it. Of those 3 have given it 9 and one hasn't rated it because he couldn't get it working on windows 7. He obviously just used any old link of the net for it. Softonic themselves rate it highly too.

*Does xpadder screw up controller for Logitech Controller or Xbox controller on other games.

* Basically I don't want to have to turn off Xpadder if it causes issues with other games, when I don't need it. Don't want too much bloat ware in a sense.

Xpadder can be set up to use with pretty much any controller. Those ones mentioned are among the more popular. Each game would have to be configured and assigned a "profile". You wouldn't really have to shut down xpadder when not in use but i'd advise it so as not to interfere with your m&k when not gaming. Obviously if you have a game you do like having m&k for, leaving xpadder open with another games can sometimes cause confusion should you happen to knock it - i learned that early on XD

If you purchase it check out the buyers forum, might already be one for your controller in there. Otherwise it's quite easy to set up a profile for dd2. Youtube has a couple of videos tutorials too.
