because it means you dont have to evolve it and the model changes are barely perceivable since you seemed concerned about how the pet looks. How does it not answer your question also your first post is more of a statement not a question.
Also, the models do look different to me. Maybe its just your opinion!

Also it only changes aspect when you evolve to veteran and later to elder, the evolutions in between don't change the aspect i think.
only premium and token pets visually evolve, jaderagon won't change it's looks at all. it's stats will increase each evolution, and it will obtain an ability at Fledgling rank.
there is another dragon that looks like it, Serpentor, which is the exact same thing, but Jaderagon is just a shinier green, moreso looking like jade.
if you want it to be strong, as in supers trong as what you are refering in your question, you will need to evolve it, otherwise, you don't have to bother evolving it if you don't want to.
