Blackscreen after i press 'play' on launcher
So after a reinstall, the game worked but as soon as i change the game to windowed full, the game crashed immediately and froze. i alt-tabbed to get out and closed dd2. After that, every time i try to play the game, it just gives me black screen. Anyone got anything i could do to fix this? I tried anything from changing configs to launch commands but it doesn't seem like it affects the game?

I also played around with the settings for dd2 in order to try and fix it and this little error box appeared : http://i.imgur.com/WxQ0n8m.png. Not sure if i screwed up some files or settings!

Hey i found a fix but not sure if it will work for you

So, if you have audio but no screen or its black and you have audio follow this: C Drive>Program Files (x86)>Steam>Steam apps>common>Dungeon Defenders 2>DunDef2>UDKGame>Config>Find UDKOptions.ini.local>Find ResString then type 640 x 480 instead of whatever resolution it was> now save and then re launch dd2 in steam. The Screen should be much smaller and not fill your screen and should work! (worked for me! FINALLY) Please reply if worked!

I changed the ResString to 1836x1033 and the ScreenMode to 0. If that didn't work try to change the ResString to 1920x1080 with ScreenMode 1. Another thing you could to is play with the ResString and the ScreenMode :D

ScreenMode:
0 = Windowed
1= Fullscreen

ResString:
1836x1033 = Windowed
1920x1080 = Fullscreen

You also gotta change the Screenmode to either 0 or 1

Late reply. I found the UDKoptions.ini.local under documents where you'll find dungeon defender 2 folder UDKGAME and its in there.
