Ballista with Oily Harpoon (C8 Shard), Piercer and Burning Bolts (Servos) and any means of maxing attack rate will instantly ignite without the need of Oil Geyser from a safe range outside of the Drakenlord's Aura. Plus Burning Bolts causes the Ballista to do double damage due to overriding element to Fire. Oil Geyser can also be effective but you have only 1 shot to slay the Lord and there is a small chance the downtime on the Geyser may allow the Drakenlord to escape it's range. You may need to T10 Tenacity the Oil Geyser in this scenario.
Siege Roller
=========
Neither Spiders, Slime Pits, and Dragon Nests with proper placement can hit the Roller from behind and cannot be attacked. Ballista with Splody Harpoon (C7 Shard) is the only means of a projectile based defense hitting it from the front and still doing full damage. You will also need some means of slowing the Roller down and avoid petrification at all costs. Everything else you need to factor in angles and the local enemies.
I don't have the shards required to AFK a Drakenlord, but Bamethyst38 has some good suggestions.
Concerning a Siege Roller, moving your barricade-based defenses closer to the crystal cores will allow Siege Rollers to freely move down a lane. If you have positioned wide-angle or 360 degree towers further up your lanes, they will eventually be able to shoot the Siege Rollers from behind.
Weapon Manufacturer.
They can fly behind the barriers from where the enemies come from, and attack way behind them giving you so much more time.
