If you intend to use it to buff towers, Diverse CD and Diverse Power are both must haves on the tower, and for the third slot I would recommend a Power Servo. Destruction, Vampiric Empowerment, and Boosted Power for shards.
If you intend to use it to CC lanes, you want to build around Rippling Explosions, Boosted Grasp, and Deadly Strikes for shards. For mods you'd want to aim for Defense Range, and Drain Aura.
TL;DR: Diverse Power, Diverse CD, Critical Damage | Destructive Pylon, (Mass) Destruction, Boosted Power. It will easily improve the damage from your towers by 50% or so, making it absolutely invaluable if you can use it right.
You *can* replace Boosted Power with Deadly Strikes, which will put Destructive Pylon and BA at roughly the same radius, but it's better to work around the low base radius in order to avoid wasting a shard slot.
Only use it as boost. Never for the damage or the CC:
— The slow is useless against 'Zerks, so it's not worth to specialize a *40 DU* defense that does nothing else than that. Use Proton Beams or something like that if you really need to slow something down. (Most likely: bosses.)
— The DPS from the damage setup is pathetic.
