drakenlord unkillable
we tried everything, some people in this forum suggested fire damage, nothing works. whoever came up with this enemy should be a national threat and instantly arrested on sight

Fire damage + oil effect or if you have burning strikes shard from chaos 5 also does the trick.

It doesnt seem like y'all are trying hard enough.

We are playing adventure on normal difficulty, why is he even there? we can't farm shards from chaos 5 and none of us is playing a huntress for oil, why is that even a thing. Why is there an enemy with such design in this low difficulty???
There should be no such enemy that hinders the gameplay of people, everyone should play like they wanna play and not be forced to play a class (Huntress) only because there is a 1 shotting unkillable boss otherwise

Alright you seem a bit salty, another alternative is the petrify combo. You can find poison servos quite easily so not using huntress isn't an excuse here. However you should press shift and see what the lanes are going to throw at you before starting combat. If you see a draken then just put a huntress in your deck for the 1 round. I doubt you are using 4 different characters to dps.

Best thing you can get: Burning Strikes on Barbarian. With Light Weapons in Primary, he attacks really fast, and Turtle Stance makes you immune to the freezing effect.

you read that wrong burning strikes dose not take his sheld down its the oil of fire no matter what you have to have OIL any fire dmg will do but you NEED oil in order to break his shield

Not exactly, IEATFETI. Burning Strikes (BS) itself do take his shield down. You just need to understand that BS has a chance to burn enemies, it's not guaranteed from 1st shot. So sometimes you have to shoot a couple of times to proc it. In case of (oil + fire) combo, you have 100% chance to clear his shield.

And yes, sometimes DrakenLord is bugged (or due to Diminishing Return feature) and do not lose his shield neither by BS nor (oil + fire). The only solution to this is either healthy blockage (+ constant repair) in front of him or provoking him to attack player instead of the core.

Trust me. Drakenlord is only the tip of the iceberg. (pun not intended) Wait until you encounter enemies immune to stuns (Headstrong) and tower debuffs that have way too much range (Cursikaze) in Onslaught. They haven't properly balanced these mutators, and they are making another game. Also, Cannon Ogres deal way too much damage.

Like I said. Drakenlord is the least of your worries

Yeah i know that, now that we have progressed a little bit further, we can also see that the balancing is very bad, especially if you are playing one of the 4 OG classes (Huntress, Squire, Monk, Apprentice) the enemies have so much things to counter you or your defenses

really? im in chaos 7 and have all the the characters but use thye main 4 and have yet to run into any real trouble the only trouble ive had was drakenlord and assassins in chaos 5
Galvator Feb 10, 2020 @ 5:54pm
Just wait until you get to onslaught. It gets bad for you quick. High Rollers, Cursikaze, Frosty Lanes, Controlled Burn, Headstrong, etc. Plus you have to play the Lost Temple every X4 floor, and Drakenfrost Keep on every X9 floor (X represents the double digit) After Floor 64 Omega Waves happen, too. Have fun with those if Drakenlord and assassins are an issue
