About Ancient Power Resets...
So, I came back and decided to do resets for the first time. I cleared C9, and then reset. So my minimum ascension level is like 3800 or something like that. My highest achieved floor is 300, I reset immediately after clearing c9 I think. I might've done one onslaught floor?

My question is this. Now that I got the "c9 ascension reset" is there any benefit to continuously pumping the gold and mats into upgrades to clear c8 and c9 on each of my resets moving forward? I've been given conflicting opinions so i'm opening it up to the forums.

Specifically, I'm wondering if clearing C9 and then resetting, over and over again, would boost my minimum ascension. My reasoning is that it shouldnt, unless I clear a few onslaught floors too. But as im not -that- into the game anymore Im not going to bother dumping all my resources into C9 gear, 20 times over throughout 20 resets, unless the payoff is -significant-.

My belief is that I shoudl get +0 each time because im not beating my highest floor achieved. So I dont see any benefit to dumping resources into c9 gear, to clear one map, if its still going to give me +0 either way.

wouldn't it make more sense to do all the resets, then pump up my gear and then push to the highest onslaught floor I can chieve, and THEN do a final reset? rather than dumping mats into c9 gear every single reset?

Once you get C9 cleared at AP0, you will be over 3400 min asc and you can get away from doing ONS to get to C7 via trash relics and hero gear and getting your champ score to c8 or c9 depending on what min floor you need.

You will most likely need materials for your own medallions at around AP50 as you will need to go up 20 floors from 300 once you do a C9 clear. You will obviously need your best ♥♥♥♥ for F999 or Mastery or Prime Incursions.

If you decide to bring your own Medallions per reset, just take it to Chaos 8 10/10 and that should be enough. Etherian Economics on the Steam Guides covers the costs.
