how to deal with old mythic/legendaries?
I mean this: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197973387281/screenshot/151262846382955145

Should I upgrade those or is that something you do when higher or max level? Or do I just replace them with higher ilvl commons if they seem like better in stats?

id work on getting to level 50 then working on gear.
just play many campaign hards and you will level fast.

Ahh okay! Is selling legendaries and mythic to vendor the best way, or is there something to do with them anymore? When you are below 50 I mean. I have kept armor for other chars, but can't use wizard staff with monk etc

As far as I can tell, when using items for upgrading, what matters the most is the ilvl of the fodder you use. So i wouldn't bother with any gear before level 50.

Depending on what character it's for, item quality may no matter at all. lengendaries get 3 abilities on them, and that's the biggest thing they got going.

Using waller squires as an example:

For gloves for a waller squire, all you want on those is defense health, and abilities (as far as I recall) don't matter at all.

On the relic though, you'd want "hearty blockade" first and if possible "automation", and then worry about defense health.

I see, thanks! I bought DD1 years and years ago, but didn't get it to work on my cpu, but with this new one I gave it a shot and it was very good, so ofc had to give this newer version a shot as well and slowly getting into game. Tower defence part is familiar from other games, but these other things takes time...not much time perhaps, but some :p

Heres my 2 cent:
Hard / More experience way -
1.Reach level 50 on 4 characters, with 1 being DPS.
2. Play throne room on Hard till your characters all have gear around 200 iPwr.
3. Farm the first level of the campaign on Nightmare 4. Its not that hard. Even if you can't beat all the waves, getting that 600-700 Gear is better than working your way up from NM1.
4. now your iPwr will be anywhere from 600-700. Start doing Incursions (preferably with no bosses) on NM4 to get that gear from 660-770
-End game-
5. When you've chosen the 4 characters you want, take 1 character at a time and farm 740+ iPwr gear with all the passives you need.
6. NOW U CAN UPGRADE THOSE

I reccomend not upgrading ANYTHING till you find an "End-game" item that is 725 iPwr with the Passives/stats you want.

Easy/boring way-
1. Beat the whole campaign
2. Join any NM4 Defenses/Incursion/Onslaught without iPWR requirement
3. Pretend like you're helping even tho you really arn't
4. Gear your characters till they all have decent 650+ ipwr gear
5a. Continue leeching off other people and get end-game 740+ iPwr gear for your characters
5b. Start learning builds for incursions and farming them yourself.

Sounds good 2 cent! Maybe I prefer that first one though :p
