Defender pack complaint

Defender packs are soo expensive. The only one worth getting is the mythical and it's $4.99 each. That for a couple of cosmetics that going by luck you dont even want is a rip off. if they was $0.50 that woudl be more reasonable. Out of like 15 packs i have opened (lucky havnt baught them from the store got them in bundles) i got 1 thing i really wanted and like 2 other cool things that was okay. So to get 1-3 cosmetic items you want you have to spend $75. That to me is redicuous, and a massive scam.

EDIT:
A reasonable price i can see is 500 gems for a pack of 10 mythical packs (get rid of the normal and epic ones). any more than that is too much.

Whats the price of the game? Yup its free
So the devs have to profit somehow!

And heck, everyone and I mean everyone loves cosmetics! Now I have no clue why and how you got the information that they are $4.99 each..

Even if you buy the Etherian Gem Mine you can clearly see that it gives 3000 gems for only 8 euros! Heck on sale some of the bundles have such a big Euro/Gem ratio!

Oh also did I mention you can legit get them for free by playing a few games?
You legit went for the laziest and most expensive method of getting Defender Pack!

It costs 500 gems for 1 defender pack, which 500 gems = $4.99 if you buy the gems. Yes with bundles and sales you can get that down but even at the sale price of 3,750 gems for 10 packs that still works out around $3 a pack which is still rediculous. And yes it's a free game but i have put £60 into the game already (the price of a AAA title) and got heros with the money but now i have aload of cosmetics i want but am not going to put in £300-£500 depending on luck into the game to get the cosmetics i want.

No i didnt go for the laziest nor most expensive way as i havnt purchased any. Yes i know you can get them for free but they are still ofering what feels like a massive scam $5 for up to 4 cosmetic items that you may or may not want (when you roll them).

I thought you bought them, thats why I said you went with the worst and laziest method!

By the way, if you didnt know you can get these packs for free in Onslaught!
I have gotten 2 mythical packs and like 5-7 epic ones and atleast 30 powerful ones from onslaught, and believe me I didnt even push that high.

Also in some situaions you can get 1.6 mythical packs for 1 singular euro!!
So do research and think about your decisions before doing them!

The main difficulty I saw was nothing useful from the boxes, just lots of duplicates. Found out that for new stuff have to reroll several times so need lots of reroll resources to get the good stuff! :-(

Its just luck, you can get good stuff on ur first try (how I got na legendary shark flair today on an mythical one) or you can get absolute s**t sometimes or very good stuff. Rerolls have NO INFLUENCE AT ALL in the chances of getting good stuff.

Look fan boy. Stop sniffing dungeon defenders backside. Fair enough there are cheaper ways than the most expensive way to get them but my point still stands. They are expensive for what they are. Even with the cheaper ones 1 pack for a euro is about the right price but like you said that's only during specific circumstances. This was a post about my opinion on the price of defender packs. All i'm saying is they'd sell a hell of alot more if they was a more reasonable price. Now please stop being rude to people just because they have an opinion.

I completly agree with you out of 15 packs i have got 1 cool item. The rest are just meh and i dont use them. All i use are the crystal wings i got everything else was pointless and they was mostly from mythical ones. (I had alot when i started playing again for some reason).
