You could also hold left shift, and tell when they're going to spawn in mass amounts, and just spam barricades on the lanes until they've all killed themselves.
Recycle the leftovers and focus the remainder of your mana on towers that need it, and repairs on your walls. Don't upgrade walls, just repair. Upgrade towers only.
If you have it, put construction shard on your gloves and max the shard, so you can repair much faster.
Question as I'm still learning about the game, can you upgrade shards the same way you upgrade gear or is it different? Honestly haven't noticed yet haha. I do have a costruction shard on my gloves though. Any way of finding specific shards that you need?
ctrl+leftclick shards and just dump gold into them. They will cap out at what ever their max level is, and the benefit will go up as well.
If you want to farm specific shards and build your DPS/builders, check the dd2 shard wiki out and it'll show you where shards drop.
Same thing for mods, there are certain tiers in game where mods on gear begin dropping, so if you want X, and it drops in campaign, then it's best to play campaign to narrow the possible MOD drop pool so you have a higher chance at rolling a decent MOD, green etc
Google some spreadsheets made by players.
I assume FA stands for Flame Aura? And what does the 'Skt' stand for? Sorry haven't learned names and terms yet!
The flame aura is one of the only things I haven't tried out much yet, so maybe that's what I'm missing. I tried a lot of builds people were talking about: explosive traps and boosts, lightning auras, ballistas and cannonballs/traps with no walls, no luck so far.
pay attention.
