Is the Ancient Power reset worth it?
Are the buffs you get from it worth the re-grinding and upgrading and stuff?

imo as a solo player the 5% cap on powers is really bad, but the stacking 5% exp and 5%gold is actually what im after, when u reset 20x they stack up pretty nicely

I mostly worry cause I don't play a huge amount, I'm only at 85 ascension after almost 150 hours, and if It's not worth it for someone who doesn't hardcore the game I don't wanna waste my progress.

it is and it isn't
first of you get 1 ancient point per reset so you have to reset multiple times to make it count

for me it was I reached floor 65 and was lvl 477 and I reset most would say that aint worth it what might be true but I was bored now I have something to play for once more and lvling back up was real easy I upgarde my flame aura trinket first to lvl 7 and just add gear to a naked char I still had so I could go trew the chaos floors then I just upgraded my main fighter

now im back at floor 55 and lvl 177 all in 2 weeks time so was it worth it? for me yes I had new goals to work for I would reset again when hit the same numbers even though what I get isn't much just make sure you have plenty of mats to upgrade those chars with good M.O.D.S. in the gear

if this sounds like to much work for you then no it wont be worth it

yea if you play dd2 casually i do not recommending ancient power, unless like u get bored of the game and want some challenge prob be the best to do ancients, but i've heard they're doing c8 expeditions might be good to hold back for a bit :>

Okay, That's cool! I'm only at c4 right now, I'm sorta grinding out for specific shards before I move up.

only worth it if you plan on playing very long term. it a end game raid, it takes 2-6 months. 1st you need to do a big onslaught push. AP player start the AP grind around floor 120-130
Aurasphere Jul 20, 2018 @ 10:03pm
Ancient life leech is really OP with powerful dps builds. It's far better than the c7 life leech shard. (lets you run healthy damage/healthy AP mods on all your gear and you don't have to worry about healing yourself because the more damage you do the more you heal and the more health you have the more damage you do...)

other than that everything else is "meh"

No

What Aurasphere said. Ancient Lifeleech is the most important one since you don't have any other source which does the same thing. Everything else is mostly flavor.

After that, there is the max asc skill cap that is interesting, but you need a high max floor reached to benefit from it, and a very high asc to actually use it — so many more resets for the XP bonus.

If you're only playing casually, you can safely stay away from AP. You only ever need that if you're aiming for Onslaught leaderboard anyway.

Do you keep the Masteryprogress or does it reset as well so you can get all the hypershards more then once?

Mastery progress is kept, but you have to unlcok the chaos tier to play it again.

Thx, so you can't regain the hypershards? I wondered since you can preview the gilded Hypershards

As of right now, you cannot gild Hyper Shards.
