Onslaught guide?
Just started playing with the new update after like 2 months and while I do have maxed C7 gear, onslaught starts of quite challenging for the mere thinking required.

Is there some kind of guide, on what towers are suited well for different mutators or enemy-combination?

So far I feel like I have to switch between 8 heroes to build a map and sometimes it still fails. Especially the amount of cyborks is a pain, often combined with vanguard, so I am stuck with flamethrower and ramsters for damage...

Thanks to the amount of cyborks I end up using cannonball, flamethrower and ramsters for most lanes +SGT for skylanes. Sometimes PDT if enemies need status-effects and if I am lucky Proton-beams. Walls are trees, though I barely am able to use bees, so maybe I could switch up that.

Are there any tipps or tricks on building? I would love to be able to build with less switching around all over the place. Especially as I have only a limited amount of relics to fill all the towers I might use.

there is a lot of lane inspecting and character switching and getting disconnected on the 3/3 map floors. its sad but this game has become a complete mess with a very small reward for resetting just to do it all over again. if u dont want to reset to gain AP there is no reason to really play. gear is capped at c7. thejasonorder had a post on the dd2 forums about which towers he/she used in what lanes. he/she was on floor 100

I'm currently working on a Guide, but it is only raw and needs more work.
I have most of the Mutators and some works about the enemies.

Since you are C7 you should have the gear and the hard part for you ist just to read the enemies right. A good way to do it is to play/build slow and always double check the schedules and mutators.
Pay attention to the name of the schedule, especially if it has something in it that doesn't spawn on the first wave. Because it can (or will) spawn later.

Tbh I mainly use the 4 main characters. I will use Ramsters on lanes that have Geodes for Onslaught. Don't underestimate Cannons/Ramsters/PDTs with the correct shards. After a while it becomes easier and I can say that from experience. It took me 5 days to pass floor 57 solo but after that it only took me a couple more days to get to floor 62. From 57-62 I mostly used the 4 original characters.

Just watch lane schedules and the mutators. If you mess up just think of what you could have tried to do differently. It's a learning curve afterall lol
