could be an glitch.
with Tower defense games you can usually figure out the routes from following the paths.
so say 2 routes heading thru same doorway block off that then there stuck v.s the multi route deal.
sadly only started recently so nearing end yet not there yet.
as my friend and myself we decided to hang back before going foward so we could get better loot together.
but i get what you mean, so hopefully it is an bug and not just only for early levels.
Aha! Well, thanks for the heads up. I just came back to the game recently so I havent really looked into the patch notes but yeah!
To clarify: We're still making the final decision, but we're currently leaning in this direction based on the feedback we've received from Patch 1.0.3.
Hey, whats the reason for removing the path lines from chaos tho? :) Wouldnt it be better just to get a HUD option like the other HUD settings (hide/unhide) in the options menu?
since many like knowing the routes, well others prefer suprise or already know the routes.
they hinted towards the upcoming endgame mode ...
We discussed adding it as an option, but after investigation, it's not a trivial implementation. The work required to add it in would take up too many resources at this time, which we'd rather use to focus on more important changes to the game (matchmaking, party system, Onslaught, etc.). It's not a "never," but it most likely won't happen.
Airlanes as well will usually go for the nearest objective.
It doesn't hurt to have those wisps, though I think so far only glitterhelm cavern (I keep forgetting the DD2 name) has a single path where enemies could walk to a crystal, but don't do it.
DD1 had some maps, having crystals on 3 planes, with lanes going up and down - I took like 15-30 minutes walking around, just to figure out where enemies could walk and therefore where was the best places to use the limited DU to build stuff.
There wisps would have been amazing - but DD2 so far has very easy to understand layouts. Don't get me wrong, wisps are nice, but I don't remember ever thinking "I totally need wisps to figure out where enemies are goin". Unless ofcourse the caverns.
