Farming for a Bow?

Hi,

are there Maps where specific Items drop?

I need a new/better Bow, and i ask myself if there is a special map to farm the Bow?!?

There are no maps that offer a certain item just keep doing chaos you are preferably looking for a 4 second bow they come in 3 speed types 2sec,2.5 secs and 4 secs.
There is a relic that works well with 4 second bows as it procs fast i cant remember the name but it gives you a percentage chance to automatically fire a fully charged secondary.
The blacksmith is also worth checking up on he will stock bows according to your level he maxes out at around 100k item cost though.

Also, can anyone tell me why Trendy abandoned all of the unique weapons? For some reason they even cut down the Terraria weapons so that the NPC now only offers campaign/c1. So glad I didn't sell my old Toxic Shock before the Trials trash came, which stripped the stats from everything and made unique items completely redundant.
Greens and Blues (AKA common junk) seem to be the only good items left because they hold all the higher stats. DD2 is all about numbers now, unless I am mistaken here.

I believe they are bringing the terraria weapons back for all chaos levels,he mentioned it on the last stream it will be sooner rather than later.
