It's still slow-going, even if you go the Hero Damage / Critical route. Ability Power is not that much worse but has the advantage of being more versatile.
The main reason why the Midas bow fairs poorly against the Roller is that it's DOT centric.
PS Make sure you have Life-Leech on the bow and always try to fight in the 'shade', i.e. a Serenity Aura.
PSS Look to your spheres too, especially the one that occasionally turns your main attack into a fully charged secondary shot.
The Shard Shot effect does an absurd amount of damage to rollers, dealing like x10 the damage it's suppose to or something and it also deals unresisted damage, so it can do some ok damage to rollers from the front!
Combined with her piercing shot, you could easily do anywhere between 800k-1.5 mil damage per combo and kill rollers reasonably fast.
For Hero Damage Huntress, I really don't know any suggestions, as any bow would work in this case. I guess any bow that has a 4 shot per second would do honestly and equip her Charged Primary Sphere I.
