I agree. I expected somthing to happen there, but I suspect Haley was ment to be replaced by Ginger, but Dust didn't get off with her either. XD

Well, i heard what there was a romanse line between Haley and Dust but it was cut off from the game like many others things. I even asked about it on this forum once and tried to find more answers by myself, but (sadly) some questions remain unanswered

Well, the whole reason Dust has that sibling-love type thing is that Jin WAS pretty much her brother.

Yup, that's what I meant. Because Jin, Ginger's brother, is part of Dust; I think that Dust naturally feels platonically drawn to Ginger. But nothing more (in response to PryoANTIC). Jin was Ginger's brother, but Dust is "pretty much" Ginger's brother. Although I can't imagine how terrifying it is for her to have part of her brother back, but also have the killer of her entire family as part of Dust's entity. It just makes me appreciate the story so much more. Fantastic game, I can't say that enough.

lol, true enough, but somewhere on the interest some Dust fanboy has already written a short fanfic about Dust and Ginger.

Nothing was actually cut from the script as far as Haley goes. She's one of many characters that I wish had more to say, but meeting her at all was always optional and developing their relationship much further beyond silly banter could've easily taken away from the importance of Dust's quest.

Well, the thing with Haley's sister... that could use some more development. I may agree with that. However, I have yet to achieve talking to Haley forty times, so I'm not sure.

It would've been somewhat pointless to develop something from what we saw of Haley and Dust, and it would've been quite controversal/confusing to make a relationship between Ginger and Dust... At the same time, Dust is his own being, and simply has the morals of Jin and Cassius combined within him, so who knows, it could probably have worked.

Part of me wonders if Dust will end up with Bonnie (the main character from the upcoming Elysian Tail movie) in Dust 2, assuming that their paths ever cross and she doesn't die in Elysian Tail. (Which may be the case, seeing as she doesn't appear in Dust at all.)

They both wield blades of Elysium, so its probably safe to assume that their destinies intertwine somehow.

I think I agree a romance wouldn't have fitted too much, and that it would have slowed down the plot. But I sure would have loved to hear her voice actress some more, she sounds like a really cool person.
