Game will not launch... [Resolved]
I genuinely do not understand what is going on here, I have about 12 hours into the game and was just playing it no problem on Saturday... I've had it since launch as well, have never had this happen. I've restarted my PC a couple times and fiddled with compatibility settings (run as admin and all that good stuff)... Also put -dx11 in the launch settings...

For some reason, now when I go to click play it'll quickly say that it is about to launch, then launching executable, then nothing.... A few seconds later I see the cloud check the save status and play becomes available again.

Just absolutely odd considering I was just playing it a couple days back.

UPDATE - Resolution:
The b1 folder in my appdata local folder was hidden, so I clicked view>show hidden files to find it and delete it. Game loaded up immediately when I clicked play.

Video I made (kinda rushed) on this:

Bumping... This is driving me absolutely crazy at this point.

Bumping again, I have tried just about everything at this point outside of doing a fresh install of windows.... But I don't think I am going to do that because literally every other game works.

I will do that now, thanks for bringing up the event viewer, this has opened me up to finding a few more things I can try! I'll update further if needed...

Also i found a possible fix on google

It could just be cache data.

Sadly it did not, I will try reinstalling the .NET Framework since that is recommended as well

Dang , U can also try this in CMD as admin : DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth.

After do another SFC /scannow

Also try and fix ur C++ library files

Google all vc redists in 1 and download / install all , also repair the ones that are already installed.

Here s 2 directly : https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe
https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

These did not resolve the issue unfortunately, I am doing an install of the .NET Framework now to see if that does anything.
