Rock Solid's Weird Behavior

There a lot of times when I use Rock Solid and the enemy misses me completely which would otherwise hit me if I didnt. Does this happen to anybody else?

i never liked rock solid. it seems to be only working on light attacks.

many later chapter bosses just power thru rock solids without hesitation to followup with another attack

yea happens quite often. Also one of my fav moments is when you use 3 orbs heavy attack and in the middle of the long-long-long spin boss just knocks you down or fly away. Stupid af

i kinda like cloud step more. I would have used rock solid if it didnt replace cloud step.
