Chapter 6... Empty?

Usually that game should have 13 chapters. For some (budget&time) reasons it has "only" six.

This leaves you with some inexplicable jumps in the game. The missing chapters come as DLC. Until then, you'll have to come to terms with the fact that finding the pieces of your best armor will be covered in brief in Chapter 6.

game is definitely unfinished... 6 is proof. The finale is good tho, but most of 6 could have been skipped or just turned into a super linear boss rush like chapter 1.

When I got to ch 6. Fighting that rhino, heard some thing flying around, people teleporting out of lightning. Then I'm wandering around and see this giant cricket flying, some guy sitting on the edge of a mountain. I'm thinking what the hell is going on. After clearing all of it. I thought I was on Monster Island.

Yeah it felt that way for me too as the cloud basically just masks a free roam camera essentially to quickly navigate to select spots to engage. At that point though I was ready to get done with the first play through. This has become such a favorite game of mine that I do kinda hold it to higher standards as I think with more time in updates and DLC it can be truly a goat level game. The invisible walls and a lack of more challenge with mobs and mob variety are pretty much my only knit picks. Along with chapter 6 really feeling like they had to rush to complete.

Well, it's not called Unfinished for nothing. I do think it's a good thing that for such a gigantic map you're not forced to explore every single corner. There's just 1 chest that's almost impossible to find without a guide... and for the rest just bosses that are pretty easy to find because all of them are in open spots that stick out.
