And use proton-ge instead of native proton. In almost all cases proton-ge is better.
I never had a denuvo check at all. I'm on EndeavourOS, playing the game since launch with no issues.

to actually start the game. Updating Mesa to the latest version may help, too - anything more recent than 24.0 should work, but I'd recommend 24.2.3.
Note that if you're running Vega on a laptop, you're probably using integrated graphics - game is going to be really slow, but you can improve things by:
- increasing allocated video memory in BIOS/UEFI
- running a light desktop environment like Xfce with compositing disabled.
On integrated Vega 8 (like my Ryzen 4800U), allocating 2 Gb of RAM, reducing details to Low, resolution to 720p made the game quite playable at 30 fps - which is quite a feat on a 4 years old integrated GPU. No, I didn't use frame generation nor did I use upscaling - those are VRAM intensive and at 720p, not worht it.
