Is this kinda like boss rush whole game, or just chapter 1?

I just finished chapter 1, and whole chapter felt like boss rush.

As soon as you killed boss or mini boss, new one appeared. I am a big souls fan, and I don't mind that this is linear game. Lies of P is also linear game, but there are amazing NPCs, story to explore, there is stuff aside from bosses. Sure there are journals, but that's it.

Beating boss doesn't feel like reward, but like beating another enemy.

So yeah, enough ranting, just wondering does it change later, or is it like this whole game?

Yeah I am playing chapter 2, it seems different, just killed Tiger Vanguard.

Hm interesting how perception can be so different, I'm also just at the tiger and to me it still feels more or less like chapter 1. Like, the area so far is more "open" but it's so tiny that it still felt like I went 2-3 min between bosses.

Nah, it's almost same to me, I am just saying it seems a bit different, at least you can wander a bit. Still a meh game to me, but at least combat is fun.
