What was your level when you beat Yellow Wind Sage?

So i heard this boss is super tough so I farmed my way to about level 70 first before engaging him and I beat him in 3 tries

Wondering if im super overlevelled or just lucky? Lol..

Well, I seem to have been level 50 when I beat him. Asmongold in his stream reached level 40 when he cleared this chapter...
So yeah, 70 is quite high level for chapter 2.

I grind some mind focus from those shields skeletons, but they brings a lot of experience also

Most recently it was level 40 with no Wind Tamer. He is very weak to Rock Solid and you just have to know that sometimes you are going to have to give up your turn because of a tornado or when he flees behind the sand walls.

i did really bad in my first playthru since i dont know nothing about the game mechanic

3:06 says 21 sparks when i entered chapter 2
5:27:22 says i have 45+1=46 skill points before engaging yellow wind sage
since i already know most of his moveset in fist playthru, i killed it in 1st try

Was 38, had to use the wind tamer though. His sandstorm obscuring visibility was really messing with me and the free stun it gave me was also essential.
