Gourd Upgrade

I've got two gourds. Jade Lotus Gourd and the standard healing gourd. It has been diffult enough to get enough Luojia Fragrant wine to upgrade these. I am afraid that later on in the game there will be another gourd that I can use the wine with. Should I upgrade any of the current gourds I have?

if not mistaken the upgrade give you extra 2 charge, right? Go ahead upgrade it.

you only have two gourds to upgrade through out the game, and the material you get during one play through, if you haven't missed any, is more than enough to fully upgrade both of them. Upgrade is not really necessary as you get better gourds during the process that act as upgrades. But if you want to upgrade I recommend prioritize upgrading the original gourd you have.

Most other gourds you get later are not upgradeable. Your default one is best one, other ones you get later are situational. Or better than your default temporarily until your default is max upgraded.

I think ots best to upgrade right away: ch 1&2 bc later u find or can buy better ones anyway...

Only the original gourd can eventually be upgraded to have up to 10 doses.
I prioritized it.

There are enough materials to upgrade all the upgradable gourds in the game.

Base Gourd: It will become the best healing gourd, it gains the most uses.( late game)

Jade gourd: For now it outclasses the base gourd. Clone spell users also love it.

Depends on your style,either one is good.

What you have to look out for is awakened wine worm. There actually are not enough of these to boost all the upgradable wines and you need new game plus to finish them all.

Just like the gourd, the basic coconut wine can grow into somthing rare.
