Black myth or God of war ragnarok

Wanted a big new arpg and I cant decide which one, would love, opinions of people who have played them.

Well, that depends. As a big God of War fan I think that Ragnarok is amazing, I liked it more than 2018.

I played this 3 hours, and so far it seems good, but I feel like it will get a bit repetitive with so many mandatory bosses. Hopefully there is more to game than just bosses and those journal stories which reveal lore, but can’t say I will care too much if it’s just boss after boss.

God of war def has a better story and isnt so hard as wukong, whatever u prefer and like more. when u didnt play the first game of gow it doesnt make sense to play the 2nd game.

Black Myth is a much better game. The scale/amount of bosses is what modern God of War should have been.

The games have a similar difficulty curve, with some late game and optional Black Myth bosses a bit more difficult than the hardest GOW bosses.

The combat is more complex than it shows in the first chapter. As you get more familiar with the various stances and combos, it becomes one of the best/most fun combat systems I have played in years. No, it isn't DMC levels of complex combos, but it is just about perfect for what it sets out to do, and gives you all the tools to master the systems in place and have a lot of fun in the process.

Not God of War... only because because Sony has failed in every way that matters, joining EA, Ubisoft etc. No account BS!! They only want it so they can tell their stockholders how well they're **expanding their consumer base** based on new accounts... however, they will pay for it in the long run because PC gamer's are the only people that will actually not buy something on principle... plus all the Countries that will not be able to purchase.

Also, God of War was discounted and complete at 2 years old (or a bit more) when arriving on Steam... GoW2 is top dollar++.

lol not even correct i find this game more challenging than i did eldon ring got 300 hrs into eldon ring and god of war lol not even close that game was soo easy

Way more offensive and defensive elements to gameplay; muiltiple weapons all being used at once with entirely different movesets. Plus managing atreus or freya. GmGoW difficulty is tougher than anything in Wukong.

Wukong is basically light attack, dodge, heavy attack when you have focus. Or just immobilize the boss and summon monkeys to kill it for you.

They're both great but get Ragnarok to start. More gameplay elements that make the combat more entertaining in my opinion, and an amazing story.

Black Myth easily since it is more respectful to the source material compared to GoW 2018/Ragnarok. Since it makes a mockery of Norse mythology.
