I agree with some of what OP said. At least he didn't say Wukong is "genderless", lots of Chinese keep saying that (probably to troll those western woke mobs), but that's false, Wukong is NOT genderless, he's a "male monkey"(公猴) despite being born from a stone, the novel clearly addresses him as 大師兄(Big Brother)、美猴王(Handsome Monkey King)..etc in many occasions, the author clearly treats him as male monkey.

To my fellow Chinese(I'm Chinese btw), please Stop calling Wukong "genderless", because he is factually NOT genderless.
