Shame, this one looked pretty decent...hopefully they'll disinfect it soon enough.
From what I search, Denuvo slowdown the game performance. And also take your personal information (Piracy) Am I right?
There are videos that prove it doesn't. Some cracks just fools Denuvo into thinking your copy is legit. But it's hard to test. In some games the performance got worse when it was removed. What do you do in that case?
People who hate denuvo always have a reason to claim it causes all sort of problems.
I've run a lot of Denuvo titles. Haven't really noticed it being a problem.
That's nice for people who made those videos, I guess, I just know that every game that I reinstalled without Denuvo ran better, so I kinda don't care.
It is related to the engine having extreme long render distance and the physics engine unable to handle all of the NPC in the towns.
Denuvo isn't the problem because the console have the exact same problem.
It is just very poorly optimized.
Very much doubt that. Also the game could have gotten performance fixes through patches.
Can't say I care what you think, given I know what happened.
I prefer they just give it Denuvo so it cant be pirated and they can make profits since i hope this wont be their only "big" game, and would need the funding.
i have the same gpu as you and im sure it shouldnt matter too much if u lowered your graphics.
All that and it isn't even a guarantee that it will actually protect the game from being cracked, more just delaying it. I actually had to hold of on playing certain games because it's performance was so bad that it was damn near unplayable.
Edit: Forgot to mention this but Denuvo is also an ubsurdly expensive service to actually maintain, costing somewhere around the range of 50k - 100k per 12 months of protection. All of these together pretty much negate any positives that would come from using the service
That's the neat part, we actually don't. Denuvo can lick my 𝘉🥚🥚𝘭𝘭'𝘴.

A friendly suggestion? put the DRMPipe down and get some sun.
HERE'S AN IDEA! - grab yourself a SteamDeck, head on down the park and enjoy some "Black Myth: Wukong" on the go!
What's that I hear you say? oh yeh...... YOU CAN'T!!!
Without an active internet connection your single player game is useless. That's also assuming it doesn't lock you out for tinkering with your own machine and other arbitrary reasons (a well known pain for Linux/SteamDeck users and games infected with Turduvo).
If you enjoy paying full price for glorified rentals that demand constant, external permission to play, or will shut the door on you, then you go on right ahead buddy! more power to ya.
As for me? I'm gonna continue in my desertion of any DRM plagued title, and enjoy some good ol unadulterated Quake \m/
