So now that the game is out and we have seen the player numbers drop dramatically I think we can surmise that most people used it as a political message, but then when they played the game they didn't enjoy it. So half of the people or more probably refunded the game.

Make no mistake, I don't want the game to fail. I absolutely love martial arts combat, and plan on picking it up tonight when my paycheck hits.

So what's y'all's opinion on the game, and not the politics for christ sakes.

Nice conspiracy theory. Your preconceived bias was that people would buy it for political reasons and now have to find a narrative to fit that belief. Given your last sentence indicates you are very certain of your belief, I assume you have evidence right?

No, the player count hit its peak exactly when Steam's entire daily player figure hit its peak. Then the player count dropped as it became late night in China, and people went to sleep. They're still sleeping in China. Soon they will wake, then go to work or school, and then be back playing BMW in the afternoon and evening, when the player count will surge all over again.

This is the same for every game's player count. It's amazing people think there's a conspiracy theory here.

BTW, CSGO went from 1.2 million players to around 130k players during the same timeframe. In another 7 - 12 hours or so, it'll be back up to 1.2 million players. Normal stuff.
