Oh no, the heckin player count for a single-player game is off. I'm a true lemming like OP and I only buy games once there is at least 500k playing concurrently. I really need affirmation that the game is good unless I would have to make up my own mind and I'm too stupid for that.

So you're saying that if a game got 3 million players that dropped off down to 250k within a day that wouldn't concern you? Maybe the game sucked and 80% of people refunded and thats why the numbers dropped off. Plus as anyone that has ever been on the internet knows, reviews are typically full of crap. I can't tell you how many 4.5/5 ratings on stuff I've seen that should be like a 2. So yes, current player count can be an indication of a red flag. Don't try to gas light anyone by trying to argue otherwise.

That being said... if you want to try it then just try it. You can always refund if you don't like it.

1.35 million people are playing the game right now, and uhhh yeah, player count fluctuations don't mean alot in a single player one and done game. This isn't the type of game that is going to keep people glued to it for weeks and months at a time. This is the type of game that people are going to beat once and move onto something else.... or maybe get stuck on a particularly hard boss and go take a little break until they feel up to giving it another try.
