Wukong is a fable based on chinese myhology. So it depends of what you prefer more.
is wukong more lineal and Got more open world?
GoT Director's Cut is amazing open world game based on approximation of historical events. It has interesting open world , great visual design and combat is a mix of stealth and direct engagement. You will be fighting lots of grunts in encounters with many enemies at once and occasional bosses.
Wukong is a fictional fantasy world with 6 chapters that have semi-open areas but it is mostly linear. It has absolutely top notch visuals and if your PC can handle it, it will be one of the best looking games on the market at the moment. Combat is mostly 1 or 2 enemies at once and the main focus is on defeating bosses, a lot of them. Bosses are the main draw of the game as they look very impressive and can be very challenging unlike rest of the game that is rather easy. There is no difficulty setting in Wukong compared to GoT.
Wukong has certain amount of replay-ability but you will get a lot more hours from GoT Director's Cut due to its open world and expansion.
Get Sekiro and Onimusha instead, and wait for Rise of the Ronins.
The game is beautiful.
Wukong is not an open world, is relatively linear and you mostly fight bosses of various difficulties. It's also beautiful.
These aren't at all the same games.
I'd play Ghost of Tsushima again but I don't think I'll play Wukong twice (because once I've beaten a boss, I don't want to try again, ever.)
Now then wukong or sekiro ? which is better ? how do they differ ? i have sekiro have played it a bit, havent finished it due to it being too hard and havent have the time to play continuously, well, i do, but i play dota2 so i dont have the time...
is wukong worth it if i couldnt get through sekiro ?
i love these oriental, japanese, chinese themed games , im a sucker for them.... but they end up being dusty on my digital library ^^
