Need a few more little guys scattered around and a better responsive control system. Aside of that it’s a nice game,
You want to keep hitting with basic attacks and you will build up energy so you can do a heavy right click attack (yes I use mouse and KB for souls games). You have to be quite aggressive but the game is also pretty forgiving as far as allowing you to dodge attacks.
Once you get it down the combat is actually really satisfying, your characters get into a kind of dance that feels really good to pull off with perfect dodges.
Delayed attacks are nothing new if you played any souls-like game, if you already know the boss does delayed attacks then just learn when they are going to do one and delay your response.

In some fights, you need to close the gap with the opponent with close combat.
Stop simping for bad combar, seriously, how can you call the game forgiving when you perfectly dodge an attack only to be immediately hit by the trail of the same attack you just perfect dodged, the bosses constantly spam garbage at you is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible.
Adhominem fallacy.
Thats interesting let me see those links.
Bro... you can get mad or you can learn to understand the combat. I was like... wtf is this ♥♥♥♥ when I first tried it but I kept at it and it finally clicked.
Once you understand what they are trying to do with the combat it is actually really good. Very different from souls games like ER etc but very cool.
As for the accusation of simping... bro, look at my library and time played on countless games. If a game is ♥♥♥♥ I don't waste any more of my life on it and I drop it and move on.
Believe me, this is a YOU problem not the game. But stay mad bro, your loss.
